Mr. McGovern also represents clients in connection with wage and hour claims, family and medical leaves, disability and retirement benefits, whistleblower claims, employment contracts, and severance agreements. He appears regularly in federal and state courts, as well as arbitrations, mediations, and governmental administrative proceedings.

Mr. McGovern joined Archer, Byington, Glennon & Levine LLP at its inception in 2008. Before that, he practiced with the law firm Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein on Long Island, Sapir & Frumkin in White Plains, New York, and DeMaria, Ellis, Hunt, Salsberg & Friedman in New Jersey. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. McGovern was an attorney with the National Labor Relations Board.

As an instructor at Berkley College's Paralegal Continuing Education Program, he taught a course on sexual discrimination and employment law issues. He also presented a seminar at the Hofstra University School of Law in Hempstead, New York, which focused on employment law issues that arise in collective bargaining.
